WINNER OF ORGANIC SPA MAGAZINE'S 2020 Beauty Award!
What has been two and a half years in the making has finally come to fruition. Our unscented, essential oil, baking soda, arrowroot powder free deodorant is finally here! Well, here as of Dec 20th! I cannot tell you what a labor of love, and well what a LABOR this has been. I was a beast when it came to getting the formula right, the packaging, the smell of the base just right. Many of you were my testers and I THANK you so much for this as I know I drove you crazy.
As a breast cancer survivor, deodorant is the MOST important product to me in regards to protecting myself going forward. I do not want aluminum in my life, let alone in my armpits.
Now, for those of you new to natural deodorant. You will still sweat, which is a good thing and I promise you'll get used to it, particularly when you DON'T SMELL!
Magnesium is the base of this formula and the to its success. We played with the base % for over a year to get it just right, and I am so happy with how this stick turned out. Magnesium is so important for women and it is more easily absorbed through the skin than taken orally. It aids in alleviating migraines, muscle aches, menstrual issues, ph balancing (hence the odor fighting miracle) and hormone balance.
We have also maximized the bottle by filling it complete (many brands only half fill) at 3.2oz it is one of the largest sticks you will find and will last twice as long.
I am so proud to be birthing this baby! Orders shipping out in time for the holidays!.
No Baking Soda, No Essential Oils, No Arrowroot, No Soy, NO SMELL!!!
Buy Good, Do Good, Feel Good!
I've tried many natural deodorants and this one is my new favorite. I absolutely love this deodorant. Unscented, doesn't rub off on your clothes, it feels great on the skin and it contains magnesium. I highly recommend.
I have found that this deodorant is superior to all other options on the non-toxic market. This product lasts me all day while giving me peace of mind with it’s absence of cancer causing ingredients.
I’ve tried many natural deodorants and this is by far the most effective. The product fills the entire container unlike others and most importantly it keeps me dry and odor free. Doesn’t leave marks on clothing either!
It’s amazing!! Like that it goes on dry!! No smell!!
I had found myself growing a bit dissatisfied with the performance of my current deodorants (I had been rotating between Native’s Sensitive Unscented and Schmidt’s Sensitive Fragrance Free for several years) and decided that it was time to find a natural deodorant with better performance and that left no residue on my clothing. I ended up stumbling upon Routine’s Baking Soda Free formulations, which are amazing save for one thing – they do not as of yet have a scent-free / fragrance free option in their Baking Soda Free formulation, which is very important to me – if someone is close enough to me to detect scent I want them to smell the fragrance that I’ve selected for the day, not my deodorant. So I was absolutely thrilled when I found the Violets are Blue Magnesium deodorant. The formula is amazing – very smooth and creamy without the excessive grittiness found in most natural deodorants and it absorbs quite well without leaving lingering residue, though I should probably note that I do take a moment to rub it in fully after application. In terms of odor, the performance is phenomenal and it definitely outperforms any other natural deodorant I’ve ever tried in the past. In the weeks that I’ve been using it I have even had the opportunity to gauge it’s performance when faced with “stress sweat” and it’s quite remarkable. It also leaves no residue on even dark or black clothes but again, I do rub it in fully after application. The packaging is beautiful – the tube has a nice bit of weight to it that I believe allows the product to glide more easily over the skin and the cap screws on rather than lifting off for a very secure closure that will ensure the freshness for the duration of use. The only downside, for me, is that it is, in fact, packaged in a tube – I actually much prefer a jar – but this small issue pales in comparison to how well it performs.
